alien sounds for the holiday season
approximately twenty days from now ill be releasing another 5 song ep just in time for the holiday season! sit by the fire with your friends and listen to joyful songs like risperdal 1 mg and space party. regardless of whether you celebrate kwanzaa, christmas, chanukah, festivus, yule or samhain, this album will be a great addition to your holiday classics. these 5 songs also work great as a gift for your grandmother or dog. you can also hoard these tunes for yourself, listening to them while you lay down on the median of a busy city block, staring up at the skyscrapers washed in changing colors.
i recorded this album a while ago and was meditating on the right time to release it, therefore the material is rather anachronistic. with winter break approaching, i have more time to work on music, so i thought i would release the ep before i begin formulating the next one.
these songs are minimally introspective and embody the themes of fantasy and fear. writing this, i really dug back into my memories and gathered the dreamlike and nightmarish realities i've lived. what i wanted to do with this album was take you back into my cave of a dorm room, where i holed up for weeks out of paranoia, only consuming fruit snack and crackers. in the same way, i wanted to transport you to a red-walled bedroom, where hazy delusions stirred and came to life in my mind. this album is illness refined and to share that with you is important.
so stay well this holiday season. take care of yourself, your friends, and your family. things tend to worsen during the dark days of winter, but make sure to bask in all the light around you. do good to people and animals. do the things you like and stay stress-free.
as always, you'll be able to find the album on bandcamp when the time comes. stay updated with my facebook and twitter.
